The
Mexico Sacred Journey Retreat, in Tepoztlán, Mexico, June
24 through July 1 held during the first full moon
of the summer, will focus on owning our inner and outer
beauty ... learning to receive ... empowering the divine
feminine, and bringing the body, mind and spirit into harmony.
Inner Beauty: Helida Scian will lead us
on a shamanic journey to the center of the feminine in
her class, Venus – the Irresistible Enchantress.
She will help us awaken the life force of Venus, which
drives how we give and receive love, affection and sensual
pleasure, based on how Venus shows up in our individual
astrological charts. The day will include exploration of
the Gestalt of our Self Image, Shamanic Drumming, the Transformation
Game, and shared projections and inspirations for your
future.
Outer Beauty: With the expert guidance of
Elaine Dodson and her team, we will have a “Play Day” of
Dress-Up, Make Overs, Natural Face-Lifts, Goddess Photographs,
and more - designed to bring out the outer beauty in each of
us!
The highlight of our retreat will be our
initiation at the Pyramid of The Sun and The Moon, led
by well- known shaman and healer Eduardo Morales. We will
drive to Teotihuacaun, only an hour drive from Tepoztlán,
and will spend the day in the City of Pyramids, one of
the three most powerful sites on the planet Earth.
In Toltec tradition, this ceremony assists us in claiming
our divinity and coming into our own personal legend. This
will be a major empowerment journey for all that come. Other
activities include the Tibetan Rites, Opening and Closing
ceremonies with native Aztec dancer, Sacred Circle Dance,
Goddess Celebration, Drumming, the Temazcal Sweat Lodge,
special bodywork and healing, Angelic Group Readings, and
shopping in the local markets.

Tepotzlán - Experience the
Ancient Made New.
Tepoztlán (pronounced Teh-pos-lan)
is known as a mystical center and home to many artists,
musicians, healers, curanderos, shamans, and visionaries.
An hour’s
drive from Mexico City, it is an ancient Aztec Nahautl village
in the valley of the Sierra Madres Mountains. Tepoztlán
sits at the foot of Tepozteco, the pyramid where Aztec priestesses
trained – a sacred site for over 3,000 years – and
the source of the magical energies still present today.
Quetzalcoatl
created the earth and breathed the divine breath of life
into the first being. When the wind rustles, birds circle
the mountains and the bougainvillea bloom, he is alive
today in Tepoztlán, imparting
his diving breath into all who visit here. Quetzalcoatl
is the Aztec diety whose energies represent Transformation
and Regeneration. He presides and protects Tepoztlan and
all of the surrounding areas.
Tepoztlán is known for its native
market, where you will find silver and gemstone jewelry,
ethnic clothing, art and cultural artifacts. Huehuecoyotl,
one of the original Rainbow Family Communities, is a short
drive away. Nestled against the peaks of the Tepozteco
Mountains, this totally self-sustaining community has ceaselessly
campaigned to increase awareness of our interconnectedness
to Nature and to each other. Members consist of artisans,
dancers, musicians, engineers and environmentalists who
educate others through their workshops, performances, travels
and general life style.
